Jose Maria Lopez won the pole position for the first WTCC race at Nurburgring. Argentinian driver again was dominant and had 1.252 seconds better lap time than Hugo Valente. Due to specific track, qualifying rules were changed. Instead of three rounds, drivers had ’clear’ onehour session to decide starting positions for both races on Saturday. [...] ...
