Triumphant start of the season for Dennis Olsen

Konrad Motorsport driver Dennis Olsen is the winner of the 2017 Porsche Carrera Cup Germany season-opening race at Hockenheim.

Michael Ammermuller started from pole position and kept the lead ahead of Dennis Olsen and guest starter Christopher Zochling. The race leader was under constant pressure and finally, on lap 9, Olsen took the lead from Huber Racing’s driver, with five laps to go.

The leading trio was well ahead to the rest of the grid so the pressure was low as they almost secured their places at the podium. At the end, Olsen won the race with a margin of just 0.562s second to Ammermuller, while Zochling was almost 2 seconds behind.
