British GT: Pole positions for Jarman, Sims and ISSY Racing

It was a quite interesting qualifying session for two British GT one-hour races at Snetterton.

Pole position for the first race in GT3 class was won by Andrew Jarman, driver of TF Sport’s Aston Martin Vantage. He was 0.026 seconds clear of Oman Racing’s Team Ahmad Al Harthy, while Liam Griffin was the third in another Oman Racing Team’s Aston Martin. Ross Wylie of VonRyan Racing had fourth best result, leaving Andrew Howard (Beechdean AMR) on fifth and Triple Eight Racing’s Lee Mowle on sixth place.

Alexander Sims British GT Snetterton

In the qualifying for the second race on Sunday, championship leader Alexander Sims was the fastest in Ecurie Ecosse’ BMW Z4 GT3 – 1:47.409. Jonathan Adam (Beechdean AMR) was the second, almost half a second behind. Places in the second starting row of the grid were won by Joe Osborne (Triple Eight Racing) and Matt Bell (TF Sport), while the places in the third row are won by Mike Simpson (Team LNT) and Phil Keen (Team Russia by Barwell).

ISSY Racing Lotus Evora British GT Snetterton

ISSY Racing with a Lotus Evora won pole positions for both races in GT4 class. Oz Yusuf won pole position for the first race beating Fulvio Mussi (Fox Motorsport) and Will Moore (Academy Motorsport), while Gavan Kershaw was faster than Luke Davenport (Tolman Motorsport) and Mike Robinson (Optimum Motorsport) in the qualifying for the race two on Sunday.
