Formula 3 Euro: Jake Dennis wins problematic race at Spa

After first troubleless race of Formula 3 European Championship on Saturday morning at Spa, second race at the same track reminded us on chaotic Monza race few weeks ago, with three major incidents and safety car periods.

Safety car exited the pits in Lap 3, after Kang Ling (Mücke Motorsport), Julio Moreno (ThreeBond with T-Sport) and Tatiana Calderon (Carlin) crashed. In a lap before that Lance Stroll (Prema Powerteam) jumped to leading position over Mikkel Jensen (Mücke Motorsport), who started from pole-position.

Decisive moment, soon after restart, was stupid move of Lance Stroll who attempted to defend his leading position in Lap 6. He blocked Mikkel Jensen and Felix Rosenqvist (Prema Powerteam), when both attacked him, but unfortunately his move was too careless and result was catastrophic. All three drivers crashed and retired with severely damaged cars.
