Two new venues are likely

“We are discussing with a couple of venues in the Middle East and some other venues in Asia and some new venues in Europe. We don’t want to make a revolution of the calendar year on year. But maybe two new venues are likely,” said Alejandro Agag, CEO of Formula E.

“Next season we will try to start in October and to finish in July, again with Beijing as a host of the first race. Weather there gets difficult later on,” added Agag talking to Autosport.

It is believed that 2016/2017 Formula E  provisional calendar will be released in late March. Hong Kong almost surely will host ePrix next season, while Montreal and Australia were also mentioned earlier as a possible destinations.
