Renault Sport Trophy: Richard Gonda wins Prestige Sprint Race at Hungaroring

Slovakian driver Richard Gonda (ART Junior Team) is the winner of Renault Sport Trophy Prestige Race today at Hungaroring. After securing pole-position in yesterday’s qualifications Gonda had no problems in the 25-minutes race. He was leading from lights to chequered flag and increasing the gap ahead second placed Dario Capitanio (Oregon Team) to 25,2 second at the end.

Capitanio was second all 16 laps through the race, such as Diederik Sijthoff (V8 Racing Team) at third place. There was a fight for third place between Dutch drivers Sijthoff and Max Braams, but more experienced Sijthoff defended his podium position.

Italian Niccolo Nalio (Oregon Team), who started from sixth and dropped to eight, through the race progressed to fourth place, but three laps before the end he slowed down and retired.  All other drivers finished the race.
