Ferrari Challenge: Perez, Weiland and Courtney celebrated at COTA

Ricardo Perez and James Weiland were able to repeat the success from Saturday’s races as they won race 2 of the Ferrari Challenge North America at Circuit of the America.

Trofeo Pirelli

Young Gregory Romanelli had a pole position for the race 2 in Texas but late in the race Perez managed to found right moment to overtake Romanelli and to score second victory. Nick Mancuso finished third what is his first podium spot this year.

Trofeo Pirelli AM

James Weiland again was the fastest in AM class relatively easy beating Marco Muzzo from Canada and Steve Johnson who were second and third respectively.

Coppa Shell

In this class Matt Keegan failed to repeat success from the first race as he had accident in the middle of the rac. Joe Courtney managed to fight back and win the race after big battle with his old rival Jean-Claude Saada while the newcomer Karl Williams came third.

The next round for the 2016 North American Ferrari Challenge season will continue in conjunction with the Formula 1 Canadian Grand Prix in Montreal, June 10-12.
