GP2: Sirotkin finally breaks a winless streak

Sergey Sirotkin finally won the GP2 Series race in 2016. The ART Grand Prix driver drove perfectly at Hungaroring and took a victory in the sprint race.

Jordan King and Norman Nato occupied the front row at the start while Marvin Kirchhofer started from pit lane after stalling on the pre-grid. The safety car was deployed on the first lap after a couple of accidents in the middle and the back of the grid. Four cars were out of the race while King kept his lead, followed by Sergey Sirotkin and Nato.

In lap 5 Sirotkin took the lead from King who made a mistake and ran wide. Russian driver of ART Grand Prix team without too much kept the lead until the end to score his first win of the season. King finished almost five seconds behind Sirotkin while Nato at third was 7.4s behind the winner.
