Cold day on Hockenheimring as qualifying session for Porsche Carrera Cup Germany was held but interesting action and results after a half an hour long qualifying session. After yesterday’s best time achieved by British ace Ben Baker, we have expected him to be on top again, however, that didn’t happened as the Lechner racing team drivers were dominant and managed to get the best places on the grid for afternoon’s race. Pole position was won by young and perspective Swiss driver Jeffrey Schmidt with 1:42.105 which was significantly better than Ben Baker’s result on yesterday’s practice. Experienced Michael Ammermuller was second and 2015 Porsche Carrera Cup Germany champion, Phillip Eng was third. Ben Baker with time similar as yesterday was ninth, however, there is always a chance for podium finish. Click HERE for full results and stay tuned for race coverage later today.
