Sven Muller easily clinched victory in the Porsche Carrera Cup Germany season opening race at Oschersleben. Konrad Motorsport’s driver was on the top from the start and never was seriously challenged on the road to win.

Right after the start of the race, safety car had to go out to the track. Philip Morin slid out of the track after contact with Jeffrey Schmidt and was eliminated. Soon, black flag was shown to Schmidt because his Porsche was badly damaged. After four laps, the race was restarted with Sven Muller in the lead while Dennis Olsen and Christian Engelhart were +2.5s behind.

Late in the race Engelhart lost third position after unsuccessful try of overtaking Olsen. He dropped to 7th position while Nick Foster moved up to third and stayed there until the end of the season opening race. Muller won the race easily, being almost six seconds ahead of rookie Olsen.
