WTCC: Huff tops Honda's 1-2-3 in Marrakech qualifying
Rob Huff will start from pole position in the World Touring Cars Championship’s main race on Sunday while James Thompson will start from pole in the opening race at the new-look Circuit Moulay El Hassan.
British driver behind a wheel of Honda Civic claimed his first pole position after almost four years. He drove perfectly in the last qualifying round to beat his rivals which were faster in the Q2. Norbert Michelisz will accompany Huff in the first starting row of the main race, Tiago Monteiro will start from third position and reigning champion Jose Maria Lopez will start from fourth place.

James Thompson in All-Inkl.com Munnich Motorsport’s Chevrolet gained pole position for the main race on Sunday after he finished 10th in Q2. Lada Sport’s Hugo Valente will also be present in the first startin row, Thed Bjork and Tom Coronel are behind them while Yvan Muller will start from fifth place after pretty disappointing performance.
Citroen wins MAC-3
Citroen found a little consolation winning the MAC-3 session. The trio of Lope, Muller and local favorite Mehdi Bennani was the fastest. Lada a bit surprisingly was second while Honda cars were the slowest in this round.
