GP3: Jake Dennis wins race 2 at Sepang

Arden International’s driver Jake Dennis is the winner of GP3 Series sprint race at Sepang International Circuit.

Dennis started from the third place on the grid but managed to overtake Antonio Fuoco and Nirei Fukuzumi at turn 1 and maintained his lead until the end of the race and scored his second victory of the season. He crossed the finish line three seconds ahead of Fukuzumi while Saturday’s race winner Jack Aitken was third.

Before the last round of the 2016 campaign, Charles Leclerc heads the overall standings with 202 points, Alexander Albon is second with 173 while Fuoco lies on third with 157 points and the Italian lost his chances of winning the title.

The last round of GP3 Series will go on November 26/27 at Yas Marina Circuit in Abu Dhabi.
