Beechdean AMR, reigning British GT3 champion, will start the new season with a refreshed drivers line-up.

Defending champion Andrew Howard will be accompanied with Ross Gunn, GT4 class champion in 2015. They will share a seat in championship-winning Aston Martin V12 Vantage and will try to claim another trophy.

;

The 18-year-old Gunn was rewarded with a contract after winning the inaugural Aston Martin Evolution Academy competition, demonstrating potential and quality, especially during the FIA World Endurance Championship rookie test in Bahrain earlier this month.

Reward for the hard work

Gunn is coming as a replacement for Jonathan Adam who has decided to join TF Sport team. Adam graduated Aston Martin youth programmes and through the years established himself as a reliable factory GT driver.

“I am really excited to be joining Andrew Howard in his Beechdean AMR V12 Vantage GT3 as an Aston Martin Racing factory driver. I have enjoyed my first year with the team so much and have been able to learn an awful lot about what it takes to become a professional racing driver. This is great news for my career, but it is no secret that I still have an awful lot to learn and certain skills to develop and there certainly is no better place to do it,” commented Gunn.

;

Knowing that 2016 British GT season starts in mid-April, there is still a lot of empty seats in many teams. Only a few have completed drivers line-up until now, so we expect a lot of activities during January and February.
