Leclerc lost the lead at the start of the race, but re-took the first place from Albon during the opening lap. The race was interrupted once with Virtual Safety Car, after Jake Dennis stopped on the start/finish line. With six laps to go, rain made a conditions on the track complicated, because some parts of the track were dry, the other parts were wet. Leclerc’s lead wasn’t under threat and he won with 2.292 seconds gap ahead of Albon.

Maiden GP3 victory for Boschung

Ralph Boschung finished fourth, behind three ART Grand Prix drivers. The 18-year-old German driver clinched his maiden GP3 victory in Sunday’s race. He took the lead after a re-start on Lap 10 and remained in front, winning ahead of Alex Albon and Antonio Fuoco.

The race started behind the Safety Car and it was interrupted two times. Jake Hughes, who started from pole, was in the lead after re-start on Lap 10. Soon after that he went off the road and Matthew Parry took the lead, but not for long, because Boschung passed by him in the same lap. Of 22 drivers who started, 14 of them reached the finish line.
