Land Motorsport wins fifth round of VLN

Land Motorsport’s Audi R8 LMS #28, with the drivers Connor de Philippi and Christopher Mies, is the winner of the VLN championship fifth round.

It was another thrilling showdown at legendary Nurburgring decided in the very last lap of the race. At the height of Dottinger Audi again courageously attacked Manthey Racing’s Porsche and passed the leader at top speed in the stretch Tiergarten. At the finish his margin of victory of 0.602 seconds.

Jorg Bergmeister and Michael Ammermuller had to settle with second place while Walkenhorst Motorsport’s trio Victor Bouveng, Jesse Krohn and Jorg Muller in BMW M6 GT3 finished third 1:46.940 behind the winners.
