Kristoffersson and PSRX VW Sweden extend World RX championship lead
Johan Kristoffersson (PSRX Volkswagen Sweden, Volkswagen Polo) is the winner of the Norwegian round of the 2017 World Rallycross Championship which took place at Lankebanen in Hell.It’s the second win of the season for the Swedish driver which extends his championship lead after six rounds. It’s also the third consecutive win for PSRX Volkswagen Sweden team, which is leading the team’s championship standings.
Starting from the front row in the Final, Kristoffersson beat another front-row starter Andreas Bakkerud (Hoonigan Racing Division, Ford Focus), who ended on a podium for third time this season. Sebastien Loeb (Team Peugeot-Hansen, Peugeot 208) finished in the third place, scoring his second podium of the season. Mattias Ekstrom (EKS RX, Audi S1) was fourth, ahead of Timmy Hansen (Peugeot) and Timur Timerzyanov (STARD, Ford Fiesta).

Andreas Bakkerud was the top qualifier at Hell RX
Andreas Bakkerud was the most successful driver after four qualifying heats, collecting the most intermediate points. There were four different winners of four qualifying runs – Ekstrom, Bakkerud, Kristoffersson and Petter Solberg.
Those four drivers were the front-row starters in the Semi final races. Three of them entered the Final, only Solberg has failed. He was fourth in his Semi Final group.

We saw plenty of action at Lankebanen circuit
Other Semi Finalists were Ken Block, Reinis Nitiss, Toomas Heikkinen, Timo Scheider and Kevin Hansen. Twenty-two Supercar drivers took place in the Norwegian WRX championship round.
The European Rallycross Championship drivers also competed at Lankebanen. Robin Larsson (Audi A1) is the winner, ahead of Tamas-Pal Kiss (Peugeot 208) and Anton Marklund (Volkswagen Polo). Cyril Raymond is the winner of the RX2 class.
