Mahindra Racing prepares new look for the new season
Mahindra Racing continues to look for improvements for the FIA Formula E second season.
After confirming its partnership with Campos Racing for the 2015/2016 season, the Indian-owned team announced that Campos Racing will be a service provider. The team highlighted how this is a win-win situation for both parties as they have a wealth of knowledge and experience from the previous season.
Mahindra Racing’s next step should be finding drivers for the upcoming season. The shortlist is not long but has some well-known names on it including- Adam Carroll, Antonio Felix Da Costa, Giedo van der Garde and Giorgio Pantano.
The team has already attended tests in Spain last month and made an impression, but it looks like Carroll is in advantage to earn a place on the team as he managed to set the best result. Da Costa’s handicap is his commitment to DTM, while Pantano is obviously out of form as the last time he raced in single seater was in 2012.
It is expected that Mahindra Racing will announce next week at Donington Park, at the start of the official pre-season tests, who will accompany Bruno Senna in the new season.
