After Mattias Ekstrom won two qualifying heats on Saturday, Kristoffersson was an absolutely dominant driver on Sunday, winning remaining two qualifying runs, Semi-final and Final. Mattias Ekstrom, DTM star and driver/owner of the EKS RX team, was the leader in the Intermediate standings and the pole-sitter in his semifinal group but he failed to qualify for the Final, losing the third place in the last turn of the last lap, after his Audi S1 suffered the puncture.

Petter Solberg, Ekstrom’s biggest rival in the fight for the championship title, entered the Final and finished fourth, collecting valuable points for the championship lead. Reinis Nitiss finished fifth in the ALL-INKL.COM Münnich Motorsport’s Seat Ibiza, ahead of Ken Block (Hoonigan Ford Focus).
