Valentino Rossi winner of the Monza Rally Show

MotoGP star Valentino Rossi is the winner of the 13th Monza Rally Show, which was held from Friday to Sunday at Autodromo di Monza. Nine-time MotoGP champion is a guest of Monza Rally Show for a long time and this is his fourth victory. Together with co-driver Carlo Cassina he was competed in Ford Fiesta RS WRC and took the victory ahead of Hyundai’s factory driver Thierry Neuville, who was navigated in i20 WRC by co-driver Julien Vial. After nine special stages and 166 competitive kilometres Rossi has won with 52.3s advantage.

Third placed crew were Roberto Brivio and Davide Brivio in Ford Fiesta RS WRC. Among notable guest there was also former F1 driver Vitantonio Liuzzi, who competed with Ford Focus WRC and finished tenth overall. The best crew with R5 cars (and 12th overall) were multiple Italian champions Paolo Andreucci and Anna Andreussi in Peugeot 208 T16.
