IMSA Sportscar Championship: Fifth win in a row for Taylor brothers
Brothers Jordan and Ricky Taylor bring the #10 Cadillac DPi to the fifth consecutive victory in the 2017 IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship today at Detroit Belle Isle circuit, in the fifth round of the season.
A duo in the Wayne Taylor Racing’s car win the Chevrolet Sports Car Classic ahead of #31 Cadillac DPi of Action Express Racing, driven by Dane Cameron and Eric Curran. For Cameron and Curran, it’s the third podium of the season. Mazda Motorsports’ Joel Miller and Tom Long, who were driving the #70 Mazda DPi, captured their first podium this year.

The first ever victory for Acura NSX GT3
Fourth win for French and O’Ward
Performance Tech Motorsports’ James French and Pato O’Ward also have 100-percent winning rate, as they won for the fourth time this season in the Prototype Challenge class. The PC entrants participated in four championship rounds so far. French and O’Ward won the race ahead of two Oreca FLM09 prototypes of BAR1 Motorsports. The #26 car was second, the #20 car finished third.
Maiden win for Acura NSX
In the GTD class, the first victory this season but also the first ever victory went to the #93 Acura NSX GT3, driven by Andy Lally and Katherine Legge. The Michael Shank Racing’s duo beat the #63 Scuderia Corsa Ferrari 488 GT3, driven by Alessandro Balzan and Christina Nielsen. Paul Miller Racing’s Madison Snow and Bryan Sellers finished in the third place with #48 Lamborghini Huracan GT3.
