VLN Championship - Opel 6h ADAC Ruhr-Pokal-Rennen

Very cold and damp Nurburgring was the place for 7th round of this years VLN Championshiop and Opel 6h ADAC Ruhr – Pokal event. The most of the VLN races so far lasted for 4 hours but this one was an XL-sized event with 6 hours of top notch racing on “Green Hell” in some of Europe’s fastest GT3 and touring cars and with some very interesting one-off racing cars such as Scuderia Cameron Glickenhaus  with their fantastic SCG003C.

As with any VLN series race the Nurburgring track is packed with interesting racing machinery and enormous number of drivers, professional and amateur. With big number of cars ranging from small hatchbacks to full GT3-spec cars it is always an interesting event to watch. This time it was even more interesting with 2 more hours of racing. The overall winner of Opel 6h ADAC Ruhr – Pokal event held on Saturday afternoon was German Black Falcon team with their fantastic Mercedes SLS AMG GT3. Second was Falken Motorsports’ Porsche 911 RSR and the third was Audi Team with R8 LMS Ultra. The only non-German car in top 10 was SCG003C which is a common sight in 2015 VLN season and the car is showing great potential and speed. Here are full results of 7th round of VLN championship.
