The Mexican drver was the member of Team Aguri in the Formula E inaugural season, competing in nine rounds and scoring 13 points, but left the team after the end of the season and was replaced with Nathanael Berthon.

But, the Frenchman few days ago parted ways with Team Aguri with an aim to focus on his endurance racing career. Duran was ready to return and re-joined the team for the rest of the season.

Happy to be back

“I am very excited to have re-signed for Team Aguri. This is a very ambitious team with some of the best engineering and technical knowledge in Formula E, and I look forward to being part of an already successful season. I am particularly looking forward to my home race in Mexico in March. The atmosphere will be amazing and I can’t wait to put on a good show for all my compatriots,” said Duran.
