Nico Rosberg won pole position for the Formula 1 Hungarian Grand Prix after he was the fastest in the very long and interesting qualifying session.

Rain caused problems and many delays and just the first qualifying round lasted more than an hour. The rain finally stopped but two drivers were unable to finish it. Marcus Ericsson and Felipe Massa crashed and their cars were badly damaged, so they were unable to continue a session, just as Rio Haryanto who crashed in the last minute.
